Taj Tashi is centrally located within easy access of the city’s commercial and leisure districts, the Taj Tashi is 45 minutes from the airport. Its reflects Bhutan’s rich heritage and architecture. Its balance of traditional Bhutanese design with contemporary elegance is subtly brought to life by hand-painted details. Inspired by Bhutanese Dzong architecture, the hotel has been built on three themes - the “Dhungs,” the “Double Dorjes” and “Clouds”. And is crafted by artisans from the famed Zorig Chusum School of arts and crafts, some of who have worked on the decorative paintings in the Palaces of the Royal Family, and the Dzongs of Thimphu, Punakha and Trongsa.
